Summary

Mohammod Mosharrof Hossain is currently leading the Skill Development team at eSheBee. He is a change agent to uplift the lifestyle and bring growth of so many underprivileged female entrepreneurs in our society through his model agency eSheBee Enterprises (www.eshebee.com). His ongoing initiative http://trainingology.net provides e-Learning for thousands of rural young women in Bangladesh and India. He is also experienced in building innovative and award-wining models for empowerment of underprivileged young women through his 19 years of work with training and research on ICT for Development (ICT4D) projects in Spreeha Foundation, USA as a Country Director of Bangladesh, Dnet as a Deputy Director and Head of INFOLADY Global and the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs as an Assistant Programmer. His ICT4D based social entrepreneurship initiative has been filmed by a Swiss media company DOKMOBILE that achieved several international awards. The film Digital Karma (https://digitalkarma-film.ch/en/) has also become popular as an awareness tools for the startup women entrepreneurs in the marginalized communities. He is well trained in the field of entrepreneurship development, business development and social entrepreneurship from renowned institutes under TFO Canada, International Trade Centre (ITC) etc. His background of M.S.S (Sociology) from Jagannath University and the DYDW (Diploma in Youth in Development Works) under the Commonwealth Youth Programme (CYP) from the University of Huddersfield and BOU helped him to enhance his capacity to work as a trainer, researcher and socio-economic development model builder. He has gathered huge experience in ICT4D through obtaining Diploma in Computing and working in ICT4D project designing, planning, implementing and developing replication strategies. Hossain is the Co-planner of Pallitathya: What, Why and How; a Digital training manual for Infomediaries (Information Workers); co-author of “Empowering Masses through Digital Innovation” and “Innovative Solutions”. He is the Researcher and Coordinator of regular TV Show, CONNECTING BANGLADESH. He is conducting research entitled “Bangladeshi Women Entrepreneurs: Key Issues and Challenges” partnering with London School of Economics and Politics and University of Edinburgh. Mosharrof Hossain was a Jury member of Manthan Award South Asia, Member of Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS); Bangladesh Telecentre Network (BTN), Knowledge Brokers Forum, BCC Working Group, IamSMEof Bangladesh. He is also member of Jute Diversification Promotion Centre (JDPC), BASIS, eCAB, Moulvibazar Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MBCCI) and many other active networks.
